Field Care Supervisor

Job role:
The role of the Field Care Supervisor is based on a team of 3, working with the Registered Care Manager and Business manager to maintain compliance across the business structure and care delivery.

To support the highest quality of care delivery and support care services by conducting assessments and reviews of individual service users and the practical supervision, instruction and support of our community care workers. As part of the team you will be monitoring/assessing the service provision to provide valued and innovative ideas and approaches on improvement and progression if and when required as the business model expands, working alongside the dedicated co ordinator to optimise schedules and deploy our dependable workforce, ensuring all our existing and new service users receive the highest standards in the delivery of care
The post rotates on a shift basis, that involves a two/three week shift pattern. As well as the predominant role within office hours, there is a requirement to monitor any out of hours enquires and allocation of care staff to cover occasional sickness of rostered staff on an early and late shift basis and support the out of hours facility on rotating weekends (There will be in place standby care staff as the first line of sickness cover).
The weekend out of hours service involves holding the on call phone from home, Unless pre planned operational requirements require otherwise. Sickness cover will be sourced from our bank of full time care staff.

Office hours - 9am to 5pm Mon - Fri

We are Deben Willow Care based in Woodbridge. A privately-owned provider of care in the community looking for Community Care Workers to join our existing team. We are a large independent company that provisions service to Suffolk County Council, NHS services and a large private customer base.
We provide care services 24hrs a day, 365 days a year.
As a member of our community care team you will visit clients in their own homes helping them to remain independent, support their mental wellbeing offering services including personal care, medication support, nutrition and fluid assistance, companionship, accessing the community, light housework.
This list is not exhaustive, and we will support every customers need. This post is based on supporting customers on a block care basis, to fit the customer requirement of time and attendance.
